is it safe to dye my hair?

This isa post to grab your attention on a post surgery problem - and namely dying of my hair (or at least I think it is a problem! ;-))

It has been recetly to find a white hair in my hair and for several weeks now have been wondering how fast time flies, where I go to, overall what happens to my life and body.... I hope that you do not want me to mourn more than the experessed feelings in the above sentence, a sentence I believe that focues on how much time I spent/ wasted on such thoughts about me. After that time came to ask myself othere more precise questions. In addition to that, I can only add that after sharing the white hair story with mom she remarked with a smile that she expected m,more than one (she had in mind all the surgeries I had experienced!). Well, I am sure about only one of them, there might be more but still haven't noticed them.....

Let me now just focus on the topic of dying my hair. It has been a thought flying through my head for the past several weeks.

I know, it is not recommendable for pregnant girls to dye their hair, as the poisonous substances pass in the body through hairs and through skin and this may cause significant problems to foetus. This cause my to ponder how poisonous it is to me once having a surgery. What are the risks and the concequences?

I came up with a brilliant idea to refer to my friends from AN Discussion Forum from the USA(http://anausa.org/forum/) who should have gone through this (unless they have special genes like my aunt, who at the age of 55 has never dyed her hair and it still is the same colour as it were in her young years ;-))

So I hope Kay, Debbie and all the others who throw glances at my posts are willing to share their experience!

Thank you in advance!

YES - I am finding more & more gray (UGGG!) but at least my hair isn't dark so I can get away with it more EXCEPT my gray is kinky curly so when I straighten my hair and then there's a gray one...yep, you guess it...it sticks out!! Needless to say, I am a bottle junkie - every 10 weeks since I had surgery to get the blonde, but now I am wondering if I should go frequently to start covering the gray? I don't think there is a problem just b/c you've had brain surgery - it has certainly been long enough now!! :o) Happy coloring!
